Crest View’s Book Blog!
Crest View has a Book Blog and it is our GOAL to have 600 posts made during the month of February! Students will post book reviews throughout the month during their reading time in class. We also encourage families to post from home and to visit the blog for reading ideas for your family! There will be book and popcorn prizes awarded to the family member that posts the most, the staff member that posts the most, and the class that posts the most. Please email your reading response to firstname.lastname@example.org. Each post should have:
Head: What did you THINK about the book?
Heart: How did the book make you feel?
Hands: What will you do with this? Recommend it? Change something in your life?
Students will be asked to draw bookmarks. Several will be voted on by our 5th grade students to copy for the whole school to use during I love to read month.
Extra Book Check Outs
Students will be able to check out an extra book all month!
Purchase books in our pop-up Scholastic Book Store. We will be open during parent/teacher conferences 2/7, 2/9 & 2/15.
